2008 Be My Valentine Family Event
Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation hosted the first annual Be My Valentine event which took place on Sunday, February 10, 2008 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Ed Debevic's, 640 North Wells Street. The family-oriented affair featured music from Justin Roberts and the Not Ready For Naptime Players. Also highlighted were many kid and family friendly activities including: face painting, balloon artists, duck raffle, Valentine making and cookie decorating. With over 250 attendees the event successfully raised $28,000! Lara Shipp Shiffman and Ashley Hemphill Netzky co-chaired the event.
